Soroptimist International of Susanville is a women's service organization, with a mission to better the lives of women and children in our local community and around the world.

Our local Soroptimist International of Susanville has been an active service club in the community for 60 years. The club was chartered in 1950 as a service club for wives that worked in their husband's businesses. It is now a service club for Professional and Business women as well as retired women.
There have been many changes over the past 60 years and Soroptimist of Susanville is proud to be an organization that is keeping up with our changing world and it's modern needs.

Founded in 1921, Soroptimist International is an organization for business and professional women who provide volunteer service to their communities.

Almost 100,000 Soroptimists in about 120 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community–based and international projects benefiting women and girls.
