Lysle Trabert, English and philosophy instructor at Lassen Junior College receives the Soroptimist's 1959 ‘Woman of Achievement’ Award.
Mrs. Trabert first came to Susanville with her daughter Margaret in 1926. She began her career at Lassen High as the freshman and sophomore English teacher. She later taught upper division English from which post she came to the Lassen Junior College as instructor of English and Philosophy.
